We are looking to hire an experienced Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineer to help us develop ongoing projects and strengthen our future&nbsp; growth. If you are dedicated and ambitious, the WiNe Lab is an excellent place to grow your career, so don&#8217;t hesitate to apply!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we offer?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>3 year full time contract (37.5h\/week) starting on April 2020.<\/li><li>Competitive salary (32.000-36.000 \u20ac) according to candidate experience.<\/li><li>Flexible working environment and participation in the group research activities.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>We are located in Castelldefels (Catalonia, Spain).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities&nbsp;<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Design, develop and build IoT related software systems.<\/li><li>Explore and evaluate novel IoT technologies.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Participate in research activities and deployments towards novel uses of the technology<\/li><li>Get in touch with the industrial ecosystem in the territory, participating in knowledge transfer activities<\/li><li>Document and report about the technological developments.<\/li><li>Identify and resolve software and embedded system problems as they arise.<\/li><li>Work with other teammates to ensure software and hardware systems are designed to support the envisioned goals.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications Required<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>PhD or Master&#8217;s degree in computer science, telecommunications or computer engineering is strongly preferred.<\/li><li>4+ years experience as a software or systems engineer.<\/li><li>Must have superior analytical thinking and problem solving skills.<\/li><li>Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and still meet deadlines.<\/li><li>Open to collaboration and able to work productively as part of a team.<\/li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to break down complex technical problems into simple terms.<\/li><li>Superior attention to detail in order to spot minute errors in code.<\/li><li>Excellent creative thinking skills and able to devise innovative solutions to problems.<\/li><li>Ability to prioritize workload effectively.<\/li><li>English proficiency.<\/li><li>Good communication skills.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Will be considered<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Knowledge on machine learning.<\/li><li>Knowledge on embedded system programming.<\/li><li>Knowledge on wireless networking.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send your application to <strong>xvilajosana@uoc.edu<\/strong>.
